LONDON, United Kingdom (The Adobo Chronicles, London Bureau) – Call it lady luck or karma, but Vice President Leni Robredo has earned the reputation of being disinvited or uninvited — from Cabinet meetings to the ASEAN Summit.
Today, Robredo received yet another disappointing news: she is not on Queen Elizabeth’s guest list for next year’s wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
In statement read by spokesperson Georgina Hernandez, the VP said she is deeply saddened by the Royal snub, especially after Congress approved an increase in the OVP budget for 2018. A huge portion of the increase would go to foreign travel.
The positive side of the uninvitation: huge savings on taxpayer money.

For next next year’s Miss Philippines-Universe, the organizers have chosen an ethnic attire representative of the Gaddang ethnic group of Northern Philippines.
The chosen national costume was unveiled yesterday in Alfonso Lista, Ifugao with no less than Leni Robredo as the model.
Do we have a winner national costume for next year’s Miss Universe Pageant?
