MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – With his background as a soldier, Senator Antonio Trillanes is not taking the criticism about his interview on BBC sitting down. He’s fighting!

Those who watched the Trillanes’ live interview with BBC’s Stephen Sackur know that the senator was reduced to pieces as the British talk show host pulverized his every comment and response to questions.

Today, Trillanes demanded that he be given a second opportunity for a live interview with Sackur. After all, Pia Wurtzbach had several attempts before she finally became Miss Philippines, and eventually Miss Universe.

Only this time, Trillanes wants all of the Voltes V Senators present during the live interview.

The Voltes V includes Senators Kiko Pangilinan, Risa Hontiveros, Franklin Drilon and Bam Aquino.

Like a true soldier, Trillanes knows to request for backup when he needs it!

BBC has not responded to Trillanes’ challenge.

  1. The national clown have once and for all proved to the world that we have an exceptional talent in comedy. As he makes a fool of himself during the interview, he showcased our comedic talent in the process and his whole circus act suddenly entertained the whole world. Dolphy, Apeng Daldal and Babalu will have a run for their money if these folks are still around 🙂
