NEW YORK, New York (The Adobo Chronicles, Washington Bureau) – After years of questioning Barack Obama’s U.S. citizenship, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has finally accepted that the president was, indeed, born in Hawaii.
With this latest pronouncement, Trump has all but abandoned the birther movement he has spearheaded since Obama declared his candidacy for president.
Now, Trump has turned his focus on his rival, Hillary Clinton.
Speaking to adoring news reporters at the Trump International Towers today, Trump challenged Clinton to make public her birth certificate.
“She claims she was born in Chicago, but extensive research by my campaign interns points to the possibility that Clinton was born in Quebec, Canada.”
“In the interest of the voting public, I challenge my opponent to show us not only her full, detailed medical record, but also a certified true copy of her birth certificate,” Trump said.
The Clinton campaign has not responded to this latest Trump pronouncement.
