DONALD TRUMP BUYS TIME MAGAZINE FOR $2.5 BILLION

imageNEW YORK, New York (The Adobo Chronicles)  – After losing the title ‘Person of the Year’ to German Chancellor Angela Merkel, Republican Candidate Donald Trump bought Time magazine for a whopping $ 2.5 Billion. That’s almost a quarter of the billionaire’s net worth.

Trump was in the short list of contenders for the title, but magazine editors chose to name Merkel.

Trump’s first move after buying Time was to halt the printing of the magazine’s Person of the Year issue and replacing  the cover and  cover story, featuring himself of course( see photo).

He also announced that going forward, Time will be available free of charge at all Safeway, Target, Walmart and Walgreens stores. It will also be complimentary for those who stay at any of Trump’s hotels and resorts.

NEW YORK, New York (The Adobo Chronicles) – Money, they say, can buy anything.  Including elections.  And looks. That’s exactly what billionaire Donald Trump is doing in pursuit of his presidential ambition.

Unfazed by widespread outrage over his latest tirade against Muslims — calling for shutting them out of the United States — Trump has come to the realization that it is not just his politics that’s getting in the way of his road to the Oval Office, but also his looks.  He is sick and tired about nasty comments about his hair, among many other things.

Inspired by House Speaker Paul Ryan’s new bearded look, Trump summoned the best plastic surgeons he could muster and underwent a quick but stunning makeover.

Considering that oftentimes, looks and personality can spell success for an aspiring political candidate, Trump’s new persona could very well seal the deal and earn him the Republican nomination for president. Or even the U.S. presidency.

Then, he would be joining an elite group of good looking heads of state, like Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto, and the King of Bhutan.

SIX U.S. STATES, FOUR COUNTRIES IMPOSE TRAVEL BAN ON DONALD TRUMP

imageLOS ANGELES, California (The Adobo Chronicles) – Six U.S. states and four countries which are home to some of Donald Trump’s real estate properties have decided to shut out the Republican presidential candidate by imposing a travel ban on him.

The move was in response to Trump’s inflammatory statement calling for the banning of all Muslims from entering the United States.

Nevada, New Jersey, California, Illinois, New York and Hawaii have issued a “no- entry” and “no-fly” advisory banning Trump from setting foot in their states.  In addition to being hosts of Trump properties, the six states are also home to large Native American populations. Native Americans have declared Trump a persona non grata  or undesirable, unwelcome citizen.

The countries of Panama, Canada, India and the Philippines have also joined in imposing a travel ban on Trump.

More states and countries are expected to follow suit.

The states have said that the travel ban will remain in force until they find out what is going on with Trump.
