SEATTLE, Washington (The Adobo Chronicles) – Starbucks has just announced plans to launch a media start-up that produces documentaries for TV or even films capable of changing culture “through creative storytelling.”
Starbucks is partnering with The Adobo Chronicles for this new venture which will be run by veteran Washington Post reporter and former Baghdad bureau chief Ravji Chandrasekaran.
Chandrasekaran said that Starbucks and The Adobo Chronicles are a match made in heaven. “With the AdoboChron’s pool of creative writers and Starbucks’ street corner popularity worldwide, we hope to bring the best news and features that can change the world,” he added.
The media venture will initially focus on two areas of interest: venti and grande news.
Large-screen monitors will be installed at every Starbucks store where customers can watch relevant news and features while waiting for their coffee to brew.
