SIMI VALLEY, California (The Adobo Chronicles® ) – Last July, Treasury Secretary Jack Lew announced plans for a redesign of the $10 bill, marking the first time in more than a century that a woman will be featured on a U.S. bill. The newly designed $10 bill will be issued by 2020—in time for the 100th anniversary of the 19th amendment (women suffrage).

At last night’s Republican presidential debate, moderators asked the candidates which woman they would put on the $10 bill. Here’s how each of them responded:

Rand Paul: Susan B. Anthony, suffragist

Mike Huckabee: His wife, Janet

Marco Rubio: Civil rights activist Rosa Parks

Ted Cruz: Put Rosa Parks on the $20 bill and keep Alexander Hamilton on the $10

Ben Carson: His mother, Sonyam

Jeb Bush: Margaret Thatcher, British prime minister mj

Donald Trump: His daughter, but he’d like her to be on the $100 bill.

Carly Fiorina: “We shouldn’t change the $10 dollar bill or the $20 dollar bill. I think, honestly, it’s a gesture. I don’t think it helps to change our history. What I would think is that we ought to recognize that women are not a special interest group. Women are the majority of this nation, we are half the potential of this nation and this nation will be better off when every woman has the opportunity to live the life she chooses.”

SAN FRANCISCO, California (The Adobo Chronicles) – Now that Hillary Clinton has officially declared she is running for president in 2016, the political and media circles have begun the unending debate on whether or not America is ready for a woman President.

We at The Adobo Chronicles maintain that there will never ever be a woman president in the U.S., and here’s why:

There is no official title for a woman president’s husband at The White House.
The American military will never take orders from a woman Commander-in-Chief.
The White House has never dealt with maternity leave for as long as we all can remember.
Presidents are fitted with dark suits, not dark pantsuits.
Air Force One does not have a stall, only a urinal, for the bathroom on board. Marine One does not have a bathroom at all.
Our founding fathers didn’t have mothers in mind when they established the Union.
There cannot be two women in the White House kitchen. The current executive chef is already a woman, Filipina-American Cristeta Comerford.
A woman president can take a 3 a.m. call in her pajamas, but will always be late for a 7 a.m. meeting or appointment.
Politicians and the media will never criticize a woman president, lest they be accused of being sexist.
We do not want a repeat of that international embarassment when George W. Bush was caught on camera giving German Chancellor Angela Merkel a back rub. We would not allow that to happen to our woman president!
