TED CRUZ TO DONALD TRUMP: ‘I WAS BORN IN NORTH AMERICA, SO I’M AMERICAN!’

WASHINGTON, D.C.(The Adobo Chronicles) – It’s Déjà vu! The man who challenged Barack Obama’s citizenship is now questioning whether Republican Senator Ted Cruz is qualified to run for president.

The junior senator from Texas announced today that he was seeking the Republican nomination for president in the 2016 elections — the first major candidate to do so.

Business mogul Donald Trump, who makes no secret about his intention to run for president in 2016, said today that Cruz, who was born in Canada, is not eligible to run for president because he wasn’t born in the United States.

“I don’t even need to see his birth certificate,” Trump said, ” since he has admitted that he was born in Canada.”

Responding to Trump’s pronouncement, Cruz countered by saying, “Mr. Trump must not know his geography.  Yes, I was born in Canada which is in North America.  Ergo, I am American and very well qualified to run for U.S. president.”

“On the other hand,” the Texas senator said, “I haven’t seen Mr. Trump’s birth certificate. He doesn’t look American to me. I think he’s been dyeing his weird hair blonde, and wearing colored contacts to look American.”

“Don’t show me your money; show me your birth certificate,” Cruz challenged Trump.

WASHINGTON, D.C. (The Adobo Chronicles) – Contrary to speculation that the Republican Party has no clear frontrunner in the nomination for president in the 2016 elections, the Grand Old Party (GOP) today unveiled its list of ‘presidentiables,’ any one of whom could be the next president of the United States.

“It’s a crowded field, but they are all frontrunners and equally qualified to be president,” said Reince Priebus, Chairman of the Republican National Committee.

Meanwhile, the Democratic Party continues to maintain that it has only one clear frontrunner (lone-up) for the 2016 presidential nomination – Barack Obama, with Hillary Clinton a distant second, and Elizabeth Warren, a distant third.

Let the Hunger Games begin!

JOHN BOEHNER WANTS A NEW FLAG DESIGN FOR THE U.S.

(The Adobo Chronicles) – Still feeling overwhelmed by the 25 standing ovations received by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu during his speech before the joint session of congress, House Speaker John Boehner announced today that he was sponsoring a bill that would re-design the flag of the United States. It was Boehner who invited Netanyahu without informing the Office of the President.

“It is clear that my Republican colleagues have a higher respect for Netanyahu than for President Obama,” Boehner said, ” so I think it is only appropriate that as a country, we adopt a new flag design that is in keeping with our admiration for Israel and its charismatic leader.”

“I really like the blue and white design of the Israeli flag over our traditional red, white and blue stars and stripes, he added, “so I am proposing that we adopt the Star of David design,” Boehner added. “Besides, a single star would symbolize unity among the American people.”
