Tim Cook presents a preview of the new iPad Pro which will come with a free carrying case

CUPERTINO, California (The Adobo Chronicles® ) – The stage is set for Apple’s big announcement of its new products.  September 9 is the date when CEO Tim Cook unveils the new smart phones and tablets which would definitely seal his company’s status as the leader in computer technology.

While much of the speculation revolves around the new iPhone 6S, Apple says that the star of this year’s unveiling will be its new iPad Pro.

Expected to measure in at 12.9 inches, the iPad Pro will be Apple’s largest tablet, dwarfing both the 9.7-inch iPad Air 2 and the 7.9-inch iPad mini 3. At 12.9 inches, the iPad Pro would be closest in size to the 13-inch MacBook Air.

The Adobo Chronicles® learned from an inside source that the iPad Pro will come with a free carrying case and strap, similar to the ones carried around by cigarette girls that roam bars and casinos (see inset photo).

Cook said that Apple does realize that the larger iPad Pro may be difficult to carry so it is being proactive by including a complimentary carrying case and strap for its new product.

The carrying case comes in three colors — black, red and green.

GAYDAR? THERE’S AN APP FOR THAT!

SILICON VALLEY, California (The Adobo Chronicles® ) – How would you know if you’re in a gay-friendly neighborhood? How can you tell if someone you just met at a party is gay or straight? Don’t you wish there was a way for you to get an alert when a hot-looking, shirtless guy is jogging along a sidewalk within blocks of where you’re driving?

Well, wonder no more.

Apple has announced that it will be releasing a new smart phone app that will do all that, plus much more. It’s calling it the Gayzapp and it works not just on Apple devices but also on Androids.

The new app will be rolled out beginning August 30 which happens to be Silicon Valley Pride Day to be marked by a parade and festival. Festival headliner is openly-gay country singer and recording artist Steve Grand (no need for an app for that).

The app will be available for free to all who attend the festival in San Jose. Thereafter, the app can be downloaded from the App Store for $6.90.

APPLE WATCH SHIPMENT TO BE DELAYED FOR ONE YEAR

imageCUPERTINO, California (The Adobo Chronicles) – On the first day that Apple Watch became available in the U.S., nearly 1 Million people pre-ordered Apple’s first wearable technology venture.

The hotly-anticipated watch sold out online within hours. Buyers of some models won’t receive their devices until May, while others will have to wait until July.

But now, those who were lucky enough to complete their online orders will  have to wait for a year to get their purchased item.

The reason? There was a major production glitch.

While Apple focused on the amazing features of their wrist-size device, developers overlooked one very important, yet simple feature: Daylight Saving Time.

The Apple Watches that have been  shipped out of the tech company’s production centers in China are not designed to automatically adjust to Daylight Saving Time.  This means that Apple Watch owners in the U.S. willl be thrown off when it comes to telling the time when Daylight Saving Time is in effect.

Apple CEO Tim Cook issued a statement apologizing to Apple fans for the delay in delivery of the hot item, but reiterated that the company will never compromise its  credbility and integrity by shipping defective items.

To compensate for the delay, Cook said that all those who pre-ordered the Apple Watch will get a 50% refund of their purchase price.

Apple Watch shipment in countries outside of the U.S. will not be affected by the shipping delay.
