Government To Confiscate Passports, National IDs Of Unproud Pinoys!

MANILA, Philippines ( The Adobo Chronicles Manila Bureau) – President Bongbong Marcos has issued an executive order revoking and confiscating the Philippine passports and National IDs of one percent of Filipinos.

This one percent represents citizens who say they are not proud of being Filipino.

A recent survey by the poll firm SWS showed 99% remains proud of being Pinoy.

In his executive order, Marcos also directed the Bureau of Immigration to facilitate the issuance of exit permits for the unproud Filipinos.

For those who have yet to receive their national IDs, their documents will be shredded at the Philippine Statistics Office headquarters in Manila.

MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – Darryl Yap’s much-awaited new film about Ninoy Aquino, “Martyr or Murderer,” almost blew up in the face of Viva Films. Yap threatened to quit after the production outfit insisted that a specific scene be deleted from the final cut.

This is no Marites. Yap himself posted it on his social media account.

Adobo Chronicles’ star correspondent Jake D. caught up with the controversial director while he was dining at Mang Inasal.

It turns out that the scene Viva Films wanted to cut was that of Ferdinand E. Marcos singing “Pamulinawen” to a tickled Imelda Marcos.

Yap told AC that he will not agree to censoring history and reality in any of his films. (Many will recall that in his last film, “Maid in Malacañang, Imelda’s character was seen and heard singing “Dahil Sa Iyo.”)

Senator Robin Padilla Wants Smart Phones Replaced With Pagers And Landlines.

MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – Are you one of those annoyed by people speaking loudly on their smartphones in jeepneys, buses, restaurants and other public places? Stress no more!

Robin Padilla, topnotcher in the last Philippine senatorial elections has a smart solution.

The senator has filed a bill that would permanently ban smart phones by proposing a return of pagers and landlines!

Padilla said his proposed legislation would eliminate those annoying phone calls by rude people and bring about peace and tranquility in public places. “With pagers, people will have to wait till they get to a landline to make or respond to calls,” he told The Adobo Chroniclers.

At the same time, Padilla said the banning of smart phones would eliminate texting and Internet surfing in public.

Imagine an entire family or group of friends dining out in a restaurant without those smart phones. Person-to-person bonding is on its way back, thanks to Padilla!
