Glenn Chong: Smartmatic Pumped Up Leni Robredo’s Votes in 2022 Elections!

MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – In a Vlog interview with Bb. Maharlika, Smartmatic critic Glenn Chong says that deep in his heart, he knows there was cheating in the 2022 Philippine Presidential Elections.

Well, he didn’t really say who cheated whom, but in an ambush interview with Chong, he told The Adobo Chronicles that Smartmatic cheated by pumping up the number of votes of Leni Robredo.

It will be recalled that Bongbong Marcos won overwhelmingly and convincingly with 31 million votes compared to Robredo’s 15 million.

Chong said Smartmatic pumped up Robredo’s numbers to save itself from criticism about how it has conducted previous elections

Leni’s actual total votes was actually just 5 million and Marcos’ was 41 million!

Chong said Smartmatic chose to pump up Robredo’s numbers to give more credibility to the elections. “It would have been unbelievable if Leni only got 5 million votes. It would invite a slew of election protests and would cast serious doubts on the poll results,” he said.

Vera Files: Naming the Investment Fund After Bb. Maharlika is Dishonorable!

MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – Let’s give it to Vera Files for saying things in the way they should be said — no if’s, no but’s.

In an opinion piece critical of the Congress-approve Investment Fund, Vera Files said it was dishonorable to name it after a good-for-nothing, power-hungry, slapstick Vlogger from Los Angeles.

Yes, that same Maharlika who supported Bongbong Marcos only to turn back and be critical of his administration and of the First Lady just because she didn’t get the juicy government position she had aspired for.

Unsolicited Advice To Rappler’s Lian Buan

THE HAGUE, Netherlands (The Adobo Chronicles, Berlin Bureau) – Rappler’s Lian Buan recently tweeted about her meeting an ICC (International Criminal Court) judge where she discussed about Rodrigo Duterte and his war on drugs. From one journalist to another, we feel compelled to give Buan some important, unsolicited advice.

  1. 1. Aren’t you on sabbatical? So technically, you are not a “journalist” at the moment.
  2. 2. You do not discuss matters under court investigation.
  3. 3. Don’t play “witness “ unless summoned by the court or the prosecutorial team.
  4. 4. It’s a no-no to discuss sensitive court or political matters over wine or cocktails.
  5. 5. You said what you did is what journalists do. NO Lian, what you did was snitch on Duterte, like a child snitching on her dad.
  6. 6. We understand your loyalty to your lying boss at Rappler, but you are no Maria Ressa. Or maybe you are.
  7. 7. It is very unlikely that you, too, will be awarded a Nobel Prize for your lies. So wake up. Better still, make your sabbatical permanent.

You’re welcome!
