OVP Cries ‘Sabotage’ Over Inverted Leni Billboard.

QUEZON CITY, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Quezon City Bureau) – The Office of the Vice President (OVP) decried what it called ‘sabotage’ over an inverted billboard ad featuring Leni Robredo,

The billboard had an image of Robredo and the hashtag #LetLeniLead, popular among the VP’s supporters.

The Leni billboard follows a similar upside down ad featuring the Mexican teleserye antagonist character, Senyora, promoting the beauty product, Brilliant.

“It was not only disrespectful to the Vice President but an insult to Robredo’s hundreds of die-hard followers,” OVP said. “The ad agency responsible for putting up the billboard must be a closet DDS (Die-hard Duterte Supporter),” OVP added.

Kris Aquino Defends Imelda Marcos’ 3,000 Shoe Collection

MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – What strange bedfellows, Kris Aquno and former Philippine First Lady Imelda Romualdez Marcos.

Marcos is infamous for her shoe collection. After she left Malacañang Palace, press reports worldwide took note of her lavish wardrobe, said to include 15 mink coats, 508 gowns, 888 handbags, and 3,000 pairs of shoes.

But Aquino, who belongs to the family that was the Marcoses’ arch rival, isn’t criticizing Imelda’s shoe collection. In fact she’s fiercely defending it!

Aquino told The Adobo Chronicles that it would be hypocritical of her to attack the Madam when she herself has a sizeable shoe collection, and is very proud of it.

In fact, she gave The Adobo Chronicles an exclusive tour of her shoe closet. It wasn’t quite 3,000 shoes, but it would be enough for her to change pairs of shoes three times a day for an entire month and still have plenty leftover.
