VP Leni Robredo’s Amazing Support For Senator Leila De Lima

img_9365MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – Embattled Senator Leila De Lima may be at odds with Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte, but she has 101% support from the Vice President.

As of press time, De Lima is holed up in her Senate office, waiting for the warrant of arrest to be served in connection with one of the drug trafficking cases filed against her.

Our Adobo Chronicles’ star photographer chanced upon Robredo waiting at the gates of the New Bilibid Prisons (see photo) where the senator is expected to join her former colleagues and casual acquaintances.

Traffic Congestion: Metro Manilans Can Now Breathe A Sigh Of Relief!

img_9339MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – Ask anyone who has to travel daily between home and work or school in Metro Manila.  Traffic in most thoroughfares is a nightmare and it’s not limited to commute hours.

But now, Filipinos in the metropolis can breathe a sigh of relief. They couldn’t have it any better than many cities the world over.

The INRIX 2016 Global Traffic Scorecard has released its list of 1,000 cities around the world with the worst traffic congestion.  Lo and behold, Metro Manila did not even make it to the top 1,000!

So, Metro Manilans, count your blessings!

(Or work harder to get into the radar of INRIX.  Right now, it seems Metro Manila doesn’t matter!)
