Manila Mayor Isko Moreno Vows To Clean Up Malacañang; First Stop: PCOO

MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) Following a major cleanup drive in the country’s capital, the roads are now actually, well, roads again.  This, after Manila Mayor Isko Moreno and his team cracked down on  vendors that were obstructing Divisoria, Carriedo, and Bluementritt Streets.

Now, Moreno has vowed to take his cleanup drive to Malacañang which is physically IN Manila and therefore technically within the jurisdiction of the city government.

In an exclusive interview with The Adobo Chronicles, Moreno said it is his intention to rid Malacañang of “obstructionists and incompetents.” Just like the obstructionist vendors of Divisoria, Carriedo and Blumentritt.

His first stop: the Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO).
