Team Pilipinas Starts Counter Petition To The Counter Petition To Indict Leni Robredo On Sedition Charges

MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) –Almost two weeks ago the pro-Leni Robredo Team Pilipinas started an online petition urging Philippine Justice Secretary Manardo Guevarra to dismiss the Sedition charges against the Vice President. It has so far garnered over 20,000 signatures.

Two days ago, a pro-Duterte netizens launched their counter petition asking Guevarra to let the Sedition charges take the judicial course. As of publication time, the counter petition is close to reaching its current goal of 7,500 signatures. You can sign the counter petition HERE.

Since then, Guevarra has said that the Team Pilipinas petition will have no effect on the ongoing investigation of the charges against Robredo and others.

Now, afraid that it will soon be outnumbered by the counter petition, Team Pilipinas started a new petition — a counter petition to the counter petition to indict Robredo.

May the best petition —or counter petition — win.

And best of luck to the Vice President.

Leni Robredo On Charges: “I’m Not Capable Of Seduction”

QUEZON CITY, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Quezon City Bureau) – Vice President Leni Robredo is reportedly laughing off the Sedition charges recently filed against her and others by the Department of Justice (DOJ).

In an exclusive interview with The Adobo Chronicles, Robredo categorically denied that she would be capable of seduction.

”It’s a desperate attempt by supporters of the Duterte administration to ruin my reputation and to steal the Vice Presidency from me.” she said.

After she made the statement, Office of the Vice President spokesperson Georgina Hernndez whispered something to her ear, after which Robredo said:

’Magmerienda na lang tayo.” (Let’s just have some snacks.)

PNoy Blames Duterte For Decline In Leni Robredo’s Approval Rating

MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – Ex-President NoyNoy Aquino is known for his blame game. He blamed his predecessor Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo for everything that went wrong during his 6 years in office.

Now, PNoy is back, blaming President Rodrigo Duterte for the recent decline in the approval rating of VP Leni  Robredo.

Robredo’s approval rating declined from +42 to +28 in the latest poll by the SWS.

Aquino said the steep decline was due to Duterte’s recent public pronouncements that Robredo will never be ready to be President. “Duterte’s pronouncements have resonated well with the Filipino people, resulting in negative ratings for the VP,” he added.
