SARA DUTERTE ACCUSES HER FATHER OF MISOGYNY

DAVAO CITY, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Davao Bureau) – Davao City Mayor ‘Inday’ Sara Duterte is accusing her own father, President Rodrigo Duterte of misogyny.

The accusation came after the President told reporters that women are not fit for the top position in the land. He was commenting on the speculation that Sara will run for President in the 2022 elections.

The younger Duterte is reportedly preparing an Executive Order that would bar the President from entering Davao City, and declaring him ‘persona non grata.’

Malacañang has not yet commented on Sara’s accusation.

Leni Robredo Moves Up Yet Again In 2022 Presidential Election Poll

MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – The prospects of Leni Robredo becoming the next President of the Philippines are getting better by the day.

Initially, according to a recent survey by pollster Pulse Asia, the Vice President was a distant 6th when Filipinos were asked whom they wou,d elect President in 2022.

But things are changing.

First, Manila Mayor Isko Moreno said he has no intentions of running for President in 2022.

Then President Duterte belied claims that his daughter, Davao City Mayor Sara, would be running for President.

That means Robredo moved up two steps closer to the top spot of Presidentiables, now held by Bongbong Marcos and Senator Grace Poe. She is currently in 4th place.

VP Spokesperson Barry Gutierrez told The Adobo Chronicles that they are closely monitoring the situation and are on the lookout for more “withdrawals” by the leading, potential Presidential candidates.

MAYOR Isko Moreno Promises To Make Manila Fully Airconditioned.

MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – One of the reasons Mayor Isko Moreno is not running for Philippine President in 2022 is because he has grand plans for Manila — more ambitious than the dolomitization of Manila Bay or the construction of subways.

Moreno recently unveiled his plan to make the nation’s capital fully airconditioned, putting it in direct competition with Baguio City, the Philippines’ cool weather summer capital.

The Mayor told The Adobo Chronicles that the construction of Manila’s first giant air-conditioning unit — the size of a 69-storey building — will begin immediately (see photo of model unit).

Manila’s temperature during its hottest month of May averages at 29 degrees celsius or 84 degrees fahrenheit.
