President Duterte Appoints Raissa Robles New Flooding Czar!

MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – Proving once again that his policies and actions are dictated by science and not by politics, President Rodrigo Duterte has appointed one of his critics to a top Cabinet-level position.

Self-proclaimed investigative journalist-turned-hydrologist Raissa Robles is the Administration’s new Flooding Czar.

Duterte was impressed by Robles expert analysis regarding flooding in Metro Manila.

In her latest tweets, Robles blamed the Dolomite Beach at Manila Bay for the extensive flooding going in the metropolis.

To back her credentials and expertise, Robles said she has been covering flooding in Metro Manila and Central Luzon since 1984. Such an impressive resumé!

A Ton Of Empty NFA Sacks Of Rice Arrives In Malacañang!

MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles , Manila Bureau) – President Rodrigo Duterte is making good on his promise to bring sacks of money when he personally campaigns for his party’s candidates in the 2022 Philippine elections.

As proof, a ton of empty NFA rice sacks arrived in Malacañang on Sunday.

Duterte made the promise in his speech before members of the PDP-Laban Party which met last week and all but ousted its acting President Senator Manny Pacquiao.
