Bb. Maharlika And Raissa Robles: From Mortal Enemies to Best Of Friends!

MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicle,Manila Bureau) – A few years back, when Raissa Robles was at the University of Berkeley to talk about her book, “Marcos Martial Law: Never Again,” she got an unexpected visit from a Los Angeles-based Duterte and Marcos defender, Maharlika.

The exchange between Maharlika and Robles consisted of trading accusations of lies and fake news from either party about the true happenings in the Philippines.

Fast forward to 2023 . . . Maharlika seemed to have been in a drastic transformation from a DDS/Marcos Loyalist to a bitter, rumor-mongering anti-Marcos crusader, utilizing her slapstick-style blog, complete with oversized eye glasses.

While Maharlika has caught the ire of many Pinoy netizens to gain the singular honor of “the most-hated Filipino Vlogger,” Robles has extended an olive branch to her which could lead to a new anti-Marcos Vlogging-in-tandem.

Politics and social media work in very mysterious ways!

Darryl Yap, Vince Tañada To Collaborate On New Marcos Film!

MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – If there are three films in the trilogy, there is sure some room for a fourth on the Marcoses from controversial director Darryl Yap. But where does the the fourth film begin?

Rumours have it that Yap’s third in a series, “Mabuhay Aloha, Mabuhay” ends with the return of the Marcoses to Malacañang with the overwhelming election of Bongbong Marcos as the 17th President of the Philippines.

So it just makes sense that any follow-up film will cover the period of the post-2022 elections.

The Adobo Chronicles has learned that the overarching theme of the fourth film will be “unity,” and will chronicle the coming together of the Marcos loyalists, the DDS and the Pinklawan. In keeping with the acronyms of Yap’s films, “MiM, “MoM, and “MaM,” the new film will be titled “MaD.” It stand for Marcos, Aquino, Duterte.

But more than just the unifying team of the new movie, it was also announced that the it will be co-directed by rival directors Yap and Vince Tañada.

AC also learned that the cast of the new film will be completely new — none of those who played parts in the previous Marcos films will be cast.

Upon hearing the announcement, social media was abuzz with speculation on who will play Bongbong and Liza Marcos, Imee Marcos, Rodrigo Duterte, Kris Aquino and Leni Robredo.

For now, it’s anyone’s wild guess!
