Donald Trump: Be Careful What You Wish For!

NEW YORK, New York (The Adobo Chronicles, New York Bureau) – Former President and declared 2024 U.S. presidential candidate Donald Trump got what he wished for, and got it big.

Trump wanted his indictment and arrest in New York to be a big spectacle, asking his followers to hold mass rallies in his support.

And so it happened the other day. New Yorkers gathered in front of the Trump Tower chanting “New York hates Trump.”

The mass gathering was peaceful, unlike the Jan. 6, 2021 attack on the U.S. Capitol staged by Trump’s supporters.

Leni Robredo’s Mentees Top The 2022 Bar Exams!

QUEZON CITY, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Quezon City Bureau) – The two top successful 2022 bar examinees are ex-Vice President Leni Robredo’s mentees!

Matthew Dayday is in first place while Erickson Mariñas finished second. Both are from the University of the Philippines.

As may be gleaned from their Facebook profile photos, Dayday and Mariñas idolize Robredo and openly supported her failed bid to be the 17th President of the Philippines.

Despite having previously flunked her first try at the bar exams, Robredo provided inspiration to the new lawyers.

The payoff? Between the two, they have potential Pinklawan clients of about 7 million each and we wish them the best of luck in their bright careers!

#NasaanSiLeni Trends Online!

NAGA CITY, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Naga City Bureau) – During the 2022 Presidential campaign, then Vice President Leni Robredo criticized her opponent, Bongbong Marcos for being always “missing in action” whenever he is needed. She claimed that in many calamities that hit the country, her Office of the Vice President was always “first on the ground.”

Never mind that in 2016, as typhoon Nina battered her home province of Camarines Sur, she was vacationing in America.

Fast forward to 2023, as typhoon Amang indundated Camarines Sur, many netizens are asking #NasaanSiLeni (Where is Leni) ? The hashtag has trended online!

But in fairness, Robredo was caught on camera waiting for the bus that would presumably take her to her home province to provide assistance to her fellow Bicolanos.
