The Eagle Will Soar Above All The Impeachment Talks!

In the fantastical world of Philippine politics, where strategic maneuvers are as common as karaoke sessions, the recent talks of impeachment against Vice President Sara Duterte have the populace donning their tin-foil hats.

It seems the political stage is set for a drama of Shakespearean proportions, with whispers of a grand conspiracy to halt Duterte’s supposedly inevitable rise to the presidency in 2028.

Enter the suspects, a cast of characters more diverse than a buffet of Filipino street food. Among them, anyone harboring aspirations to follow in the footsteps of Bongbong Marcos is naturally the prime suspect. Even a fifth-grader with a penchant for political cartoons could sketch out the plot: an intricate web of power plays, alliances, and backdoor dealings designed to trip up the political heiress.

Will Sara Duterte emerge unscathed, or is this just another act in the never-ending circus of Philippine politics? Only time, and perhaps a crystal ball, will tell.

But to those who genuinely know Duterte, she will soar above all this, like a green eagle.

Senators Bong Revilla And Jinggoy Estrada Call For A Senate Investigation Into Michelle Dee’s National Costume!

In a stunning display of legislative priorities, Senators Bong Revilla and Jinggoy Estrada have called for a Senate investigation into the national costume of Miss Universe Philippines, Michelle Dee. Apparently, the senators are deeply concerned that the costume, which depicted an airplane with Philippine Airlines’ colors and the “Love the Philippines” campaign logo, is not a true representation of the Philippines.

Revilla and Estrada are demanding answers from Philippine Airlines and the Department of Tourism, insinuating a sinister conspiracy behind the costume design. If any connivance is found, they threaten to withdraw the entire budget of the Department of Tourism and cancel Philippine Airlines’ franchise.

In a joint statement, the senators declared, “We will not stand idly by while our national costume tarnishes the image of Filipinas as strong, independent women. We must get to the bottom of this airplane scandal!”

Indeed, nothing says “representative of the people” like prioritizing beauty pageant costumes over pressing national issues.

Senators Wielding Taxpayer Money For Personal Vendetta

In illustrious theater of political absurdity, senators seem to have discovered a new form of legislative performance art: the budgetary vendetta.

Take Senator Bong Revilla, who, apparently triggered by a mere traffic violation accusation, threatened to snatch the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority’s budget faster than an MMDA officer can issue a jaywalking ticket. It seems the senator has a unique interpretation of checks and balances – more like “checks if I don’t like you, balances if I do.”

Not to be outdone, Senator Jinggoy Estrada has donned the cap of a fiscal executioner, wielding the budgetary guillotine with reckless abandon. His latest masterpiece involves slashing the entire Commission on Human Rights budget because they dared challenge his stance on abortion.

Nothing says democracy like holding an agency hostage until it aligns with your personal ideology.

In this riveting saga of political theatrics, it appears that wielding budget power has become the preferred weapon of choice for settling personal scores. Who needs reasoned debate when you can simply threaten an agency’s financial lifeline? It’s a brave new world of legislative pettiness and power plays, where vendettas come with a taxpayer-funded price tag.
