Raissa Robles’ “Never Again?” But A Marcos Makes It To The World’s Top Influencers

In a twist that would make even the most seasoned scriptwriter raise an eyebrow, President Bongbong Marcos finds himself donning the badge of honor as one of Time Magazine’s 100 Most Influential People.

Cue the outrage! As predictable as sunrise in the tropics, anti-Marcos crusaders, led by the indomitable Raissa Robles, are sure to turn redder than the proverbial scarlet letter. With Robles’ holy grail “Marcos Martial Law: Never Again” relegated to the dusty shelves of literary obscurity, she and her ilks must now face the reality that another Marcos has sauntered into Malacañang. Bring in the sour grapes!

It’s a narrative twist worthy of a telenovela finale, where the underdog rises to power despite the odds, leaving the critics sputtering like malfunctioning fireworks on New Year’s Eve.

So, grab your popcorn, folks, because the sequel to the Marcos saga promises to be a rollercoaster ride of emotions and, of course, endless memes.

FL Calling VP Sara “Bad Shot” Not That Bad (2 Videos)

A teaser for an upcoming airing of Ka Tunying’s exclusive interview with First Lady Liza Araneta Marcos is going viral!

Apparently in that interview, the First Lady referred to Sara Duterte as “bad shot,” meaning the Vice President has lost favor with the First Lady, all because the former seemed to support her dad in calling President Bongbong Marcos “bangag” or high (on drugs).

While the anti-Marcos v/bloggers are expected to feast on the interview to try to portray the First Lady as a “witch,” we can’t help but be reminded of an infamous interview by American journalist Connie Chung with the mother of then U.S. House Speaker Newt Gingrich.

In that interview, Mrs. Gingrich told Chung her son thought that then First Lady Hillary Clinton was a “bitch.”

So lighten up folks. “Bad shot” is not that bad compared to “bitch.”
