Sa ating mahal na Senado, tila isang telenobela ang mga eksena—puno ng drama at plot twist!

Kung hindi mo pa alam, ang mga paborito nating mga bituin ay sina Jinggoy Estrada at JV Ejercito, mga kapatid sa dugo at sa pulitika. Hindi rin magpapatalo ang powerhouse duo na sina Alan Peter at Pia Cayetano, at ang mag-inang tandem na sina Cynthia at Mark Villar. Parang reunion ng pamilya tuwing may sesyon, di ba?

Ngayon, may chika na tatakbo raw sa 2025 sina Rodrigo Duterte at mga anak niyang sina Paulo at Basté. Aba, parang dinastiyang walang katapusan!

Siyempre, hindi mawawala ang intriga at awayan. Ang drama? Ang bangayan nina Alan Cayetano at Nancy Binay. Si Binay, nag-file ng ethics complaint laban kay Cayetano. Ang sabi ni Cayetano, “buang” at “Marites” daw si Binay. Aba, parang eksena sa pelikula ni FPJ! Kaya tuloy, ang Senado natin ay nagmumukhang teleserye na pinaghalong drama at komedya.

IM: Senator-Turned Fake News Monger?

While most Philippine senators publicly take the side of the Philippines, defending its rights to territorial disputes with China, Senator Imee Marcos has joined the band of fake news and rumor mongers.

She has, on many occasions, tried to cause enmity between Beijing and Manila, even going as far as spreading fake news about U.S. missiles being delivered to the Philippines. Has she become a spy for China?

No less than the Armed Forces of the Philippines and national security officials have denied her allegations and the Chinese Embassy in Manila has responded with assurances that China is not a threat to the Philippines.

What is Marcos up to? Out to cause the downfall of her own brother, or grandstanding in preparation for the 2025 senatorial elections?

Fortunately for majority of Filipino voters, and unfortunately for the Madam, we all know better than fall into whatever trap she has laid out.
