Fact Check: Jay Sonza’s P1M Lies (video)

In yet another dazzling display of creative fiction, former journalist-turned-professional troll Jay Sonza took to social media to announce that all criminal charges against Pastor Apollo Quiboloy in the U.S. have magically vanished. Clearly, Sonza is now moonlighting as a master illusionist, conjuring stories from thin air for his boss, the head of the disenfranchised SMNI News Network.

According to Sonza’s latest tall tale, the U.S. courts have graciously decided to drop everything against Quiboloy. Unfortunately for Sonza’s P1M-per-lie gig, reality disagrees.

In fact, Marissa Duenas, an HR manager from Quiboloy’s KOJC, did plead guilty for violating US marriage laws in a deal for a reduced sentence. But Quiboloy? Still very much on the FBI’s Most Wanted List, his charges remain untouched.

It seems Sonza’s reporting has evolved into an entirely new genre—fiction—where facts are optional, and the truth is whatever keeps the paycheck coming.

Time For Harry Roque To Come Out!

It’s high time for Harry Roque to emerge from the shadows and demonstrate his impeccable legal prowess in addressing accusations of his alleged involvement in illegal POGO operations. After all, this is the perfect opportunity for him to prove his deep reverence for the Constitution and the Supreme Court, which ever-so-graciously denied his petition for a Writ of Amparo. Surely, as a distinguished lawyer, he’d want to confront the charges “fair and square” – or does that phrase only apply when he’s on the other side of the courtroom?

And really, who can Roque blame this time? Congress? The Supreme Court? Certainly not his family, since his wife is also facing arrest for contempt. It’s truly a match made in legal heaven – united by warrants, side by side. Perhaps Mr. Supra, their loyal pet, can join the reunion and make the family whole again. After all, justice is always better when shared.
