Donald Trump Presidency: U.N. Warns Of Refugee Crisis Worse Than Syria’s

imageNEW YORK, New York (The Adobo Chronicles, Washington Bureau) – The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNCHR) warned today that the international community is about to face a refugee crisis worse than what’s happening in Syria — and it involves Americans!

With a Donald Trump presidency looming, hundreds of thousands of Americans are already readying plans for a massive exodus, fleeing to the north and south of the border (Canada and Mexico), as well as to countries in Europe and Asia.

Already, Canadan Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has announced that his country is building a wall along the US.-Canada border in anticipation of the exodus to North America.  Trudeau said Canada will make Trump pay for the cost of building the wall.

The United States Post Office (USPO) is reporting being overwhelmed by both new and renewal passport applications, while foreign consular offices throughout the United States have confirmed a spike in visa applications.

It is estimated that as many as 150 Million Americans, mostly Democrats, are expected to flee the U.S. starting in November this year, right after the presidential elections. Compare that with 4.6 Million Syrian refugees!

Among those who have reportedly applied for foreign visas are Republican presidential candidates Ted Cruz, a Canadian American, and Marco Rubio, a Cuban American.

Unconfirmed reports say that the Obamas have purchased a home in Nyang’oma Kogelo, Kenya, birthplace of Barack’s father.

Another World Record For The Philippines: Blacklisted For Lack Of Transparency In Foreign Aid

imagePARIS, France (The Adobo Chronicles, Berlin Bureau) – Under the administration of President NoyNoy Aquino, the Philippines has received numerous accolades and has made it to the top of world records — from the economy to the Internet, not to mention several Guinness records.

The Philippines has just made the list of 17 countries blacklisted by the French government for lack of transparency on foreign aid and non-cooperation in investigating fraud.  As a result, the country will not benefit from French banks in as far as the distribution of development funds are concerned.

Aside from the Philippines, other countries blacklisted by the French government include Botswana, Brunei, Nauru, Guatemala, Switzerland, Lebanon, Panama, Costa Rica, the United Arab Emirates, Dominica, Liberia, Trinidad and Tobago and Vanuatu.

A spokesperson for President Aquino told The Adobo Chronicles  that “thanks to the efforts of this administration, the Philippines is becoming well known in the international community, and we’re not just talking about boxing and beauty pageants.”

Canada To Build A Wall Along U.S.-Canada Border, Will Ask Donald Trump To Pay For It

TORONTO, Canada (The Adobo Chronicles, Washington Bureau) – Prime Minister Justin Trudeau today announced that the Canadian government will soon build a wall along the U.S.-Canada border to keep out Americans  expected to flee once Donald Trump is elected president of the United States.

Today’s announcement is a dose of Trump’s own medicine.  When he launched his bid for the Republican presidential nomination, he announced that he will build a wall along the U.S.-Mexico border to prevent Mexicans and others from entering the country.  Trump said that he will ask Mexico to pay for the cost of building the great wall.  Recently, he said he had just decided to make the wall 10 feet higher than his original plan.

Similary, Trudeau said that his government will bill the Trump administration for the cost of building the U.S. northern border.

As the probability of a Trump presidency becomes stronger by the day, many Americans have vowed to flee the U.S. for Canada and other countries in Europe.

The  handsome prime minister said that Americans can still enter Canada legally, with a valid visa.  However, he said only Americans from the red states will be required to secure visas.  Those from the blue states can enter Canada visa-free for a period of 90 days.
