Adobo Chronicles Publisher Accurately Predicts The Future!

By Jake Don

BANGUED, Abra (The Adobo Chronicles, Bangued Bureau) – Four days ago, Adobo Chronicles publisher and editor predicted that the Philippine Telcos will ask for an extension in the registration of SIM cards as prescribed by law.

Under the Republic Act (RA) 11934 or the Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) Registration Act, signed by President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr., the registration started on December 7 2022 and will end on April 26 2023.

Lo and behold, that prediction has come to fruition.

Less than a week before deadline day, the Telcos have asked for extension.

LTO Mans Up To LGBTQ Priority Lane Blunder!

MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – Was it parody? Was it a typo? Was it a photoshop job?

These were the lingering questions that followed a viral photo showing that in a Land Transportation Office (LTO) district office, LGBTQ was included in a service priority lane, along with senior citizens, persons with disability and pregnant women.

Well, finally, the LTO district office concerned manned up to the issue — and defended it.

Their response was presumably an attempt at damage control, but it was more laughable and ludicrous than parody, typo or photoshop.

Viral Photo: LTO Says It Was A Typo.

MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – A photo that has gone viral on social media has submerged the Land Transportation Office (LTO) San Isidro District in hot water.

The photo shows signage that includes LGBTQ among those allowed to use the priority lane, along with senior citizens, PWDs and pregnant women.

But LTO said there was a typographical error (typo) in the signage. It said “LGBTQ” should instead have read “LOWIQ.”
