WASHINGTON D.C. (The Adobo Chronicles, Washington Bureau) – Sources close to Donald Trump have suggested that the President might not seek a second term. That’s good news enough. But an exclusive interview with The Adobo Chronicles may even be better news for many Americans.
Trump has told us that he may not finish his first term. Apparently, he is extremely bothered by the lack of sleep, weight loss and more grey hair since he took office. He added that he misses tweeting, something that he hasn’t done as much since he became president.
WASHINGTON, D.C. (The Adobo Chronicles, Washington Bureau) – Unconfirmed reports say that U.S. President Donald Trump called Philippine Senator Antonio Trillanes a ‘Narco.’
The Pinoy Senator was recently in the U.S., meeting with American politicians including Florida Senator Marco Rubio. He supposedly asked their help to convince Trump to cancel his trip to the Philippines next month to attend the ASEAN Summit.
Upon hearing of the rumor, Trillanes fired back, calling the American President a ‘Wacko.’
This is Democracy at work — a Narco and a Wacko exchanging barbs during their ‘high’ moments.
Moral of the story: Drugs are not good for your mental health.
NAGA CITY, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – Who can forget Leni Robredo’s bold suggestion to preserve the ruins of the terrorist siege on Marawi City? The Vice President’s brilliant idea was met with both praise and criticism.
But now, Robredo is criticizing the government of Japan for its offer to help the Philippines rebuild war-torn Marawi.
The offer was made during President Rodrigo Duterte’s second official visit to Japan.
In a statement issued exclusively to Rappler, Inquirer, ABS-CBN, GMA 7 and The Adobo Chronicles, Robredo lamented the fact that foreign governments like Japan are interfering with the internal affairs of the Philippines.
”We are independent and we should have the exclusive right to determine what’s best for our country and people,” Robredo said.
