MAKATI CITY, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – The famed Ayala Museum in Makati has just received a priced work of art, donated by no less than Vice President Leni Robredo.
The artwork consists of a painting of Leni’s Tsinelas which the museum’s curator said is “a priceless addition to our art- nouveau collection.”
”It’s not only an excellent piece of art but also a catalyst for national and international conversation among our patrons and visitors,” the curator told The Adobo Chronicles.
So when in Makati City, visit the Ayala Museum and be awed by this beauty.
Who knows that the lowly tsinelas could make it to the walls of a great museum?
WASHINGTON, D.C. (The Adobo Chronicles, Washington Bureau) – House Speaker Paul Ryan today categorically denied that he screwed an altar boy.
Ryan was reacting to a statement by entertainment personality Rosie O’Donnel, who said that Ryan is going “straight to hell.” O’Donnel was referring to the tax plan recently passed in Congress, courtesy of Ryan and the Republicans.
What Ryan didn’t realize is that he misread O’Donnel’s statement.
QUEZON CITY, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – The Office of the Vice President (OVP) is busy preparing for the oath-taking ceremony of Leni Robredo to succeed President Rodrigo Duterte.
Champagne flowed at the OVP on Christmas Day after Robredo and her staff heard the news that Duterte has tendered his resignation.
Little did they know that it was the younger Duterte — Paolo — who resigned as Vice Mayor of Davao City, and not the President.
