Andok has just announced that beginning Monday, all of its outlets nationwide will start offering a delectable and cheaper alternative to the Litson Manok, Litson Liempo and Litson Baka — it’s the Litson Tilapia.
Each roasted whole tilapia will cost three times less that Andok’s other litsons.
A new hashtag is now trending. No longer #BakaNaman. Rather, #TilaNaman.

MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – As that viral marquee sign says, McDonald’s is the world’s no. 1 except in the Philippines where it can’t beat that big, fat, smiling bee (Jollibee). Not even the recent incident of the crispy-fried Chicken Joy can change that.
Now, McDonald’s is trying a new business strategy. It is merging with Mang Inasal, the famous Filipino grilled meat restaurant famous for its unli rice (unlimited rice).
The merger is a big boost to local employment since workers can now do a morning shift at McDonald’s and work the evening shift at Mang Inasal, as shown by this photo of a dual employee:
A McDonald’s spokesperson told The Adobo Chronicles that Mang Inasal will eventually renamed McInasal.

When Jollibee BGC reopens after being shut down for 3 days because of the “crispy-fried towel” incident, it will be handing out free hand towels for every purchase of Chicken Joy.
With this reopening promotion, Jollibee BGC hopes to regain customer confidence after that unfortunate fiasco.
The Jollibee manager who spoke to The Adobo Chronicles said, “The joke is on us, hope that we all leave the incident behind us.”
