Calvin Klein To Sue Clinton-Kaine Campaign

NEW YORK, New York (The Adobo Chronicles, Washington Bureau) – What is it with the political campaigns making serious gaffes with their chosen logos?

First, the Trump-Pence campaign revealed their T-P campaign logo, only to pull it after criticism that it looked like a cork screw.

Now, the Hillary Clinton-Tim Kaine campaign logo (see photo) is in big trouble because it encroaches on the patent rights of the apparel line Calvin-Klein.

The New York-based company is threatening to sue the Democratic National Committee for copyright infringement.

No comment yet from the Clinton-Kaine campaign on their chosen CK logo.

Donald Trump’s Newest Campaign Promise: “I Will Do To America What I Did To My Businesses”

NEW YORK, New York (The Adobo Chronicles, Washington Bureau) – There isn’t any doubt that Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has extensive business experience that makes him qualified to effectively handle the U.S. economy.

The real estate mogul is running on the campaign meme of “Make America Great Again!”

As the Republican National Convention draws near, and as he embarks on the general elections campaign against Democratic presumptive nominee Hillary Clinton, Trump has made yet another promise to the voters (other than building a border wall with Mexico and banning all Muslims from entering the U.S.)

“I will do to America what I did to my businesses,” he said.

So, America, expect the country to be bankrupt. Not once, but four times! That’s at least one bankruptcy per year during his first four-year term as president.

Like A Cry Baby, Trump Threatens To Pull Out Of His Scotland Golf Resort

ABERDEEN, Scotland (The Adobo Chronicles, Berlin Bureau) – Just hours after he was barraged with insults by Scottish netizens for falsely claiming that Scotland had voted to leave the European Union (EU), Republican Presidential Candidate Donald Trump threatened to pull out of his billion-dollar investment involving a 1,400-acre golf course and resort at Balmedie, just north of Aberdeen.

The Trump International Golf Links, Scotland (TIGLS) includes two 18-hole courses, a 5-star hotel, golf villas, holiday homes, and a golf academy. Trump claims it to be the world’s best golf course.

But after being subjected to the worst ridicule ever in his entire life, Trump said that he is now seriously considering abandoning the project altogether, and “let the Scottish people suffer the consequences of revenues and world stature in the field of golf.

The project was controversial from the very beginning. Many local folks and others across Scotland and the U.K. opposed the construction of the golf course and resort for environmental and historical reasons, while several families have resisted eviction from their long-held properties near the site of the resort.

The controversy was the subject of a 2011 documentary, “You’ve Been Trumped,” by British filmmaker Anthony Baxter.
