‘Kakampures’ Are Switching, Are Now ‘Kakampinks!’

MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – How the world turns!

Kakampures,’ die-hard Rodrigo Duterte followers and supporters who are anti Bongbong Marcos, are switching loyalties. They now have joined the ranks of the ‘Kakampinks,” followers and supporters of defeated presidential candidate Leni Robredo.

The switch came just hours after photos were published showing Duterte visiting Marcos in Malacañang. During the meeting, the former president reported gave some sound advice to the incumbent on matters of national concern and also made a verbal report on his recent meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping.

A ‘Kakampure’ told The Adobo Chronicles (on condition of anonymity) that his fellow DDS (Die-hard Duterte Supporters) were very disappointed and disillusioned that the previous and current residents of Malacañang seem to now be in very good terms.

Is UniTeam now actually coming into fruition? Minus the ‘Kakampure’ turncoats, of course!

MTRCB Penalizes “It’s Showtime!”

MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – Lala Sotto, chairperson of the Movie and Television Ratings and Classification Board, says she stands by the summons issued to the producers of GMA/GTV’s “It’s Showtime!”

The summons came following the noon-time show’s episode whereby hosts Vice Ganda and real-life partner Ion Parez were finger-licking some cake icing in front of young children.

By affirming the MTRCB’s summons, Sotto who is the daughter of Senate President Tito Sotto and former actress Helen Gamboa, penalized “It’s Showtime” with a slap on the wrist!

Regarding complaints that her parents also committed an indecent act on TV5’s “E.A.T,” (prolonged kissing on the lips on national television), the MTRCB chair said that’s different because her parents are real-life husband and wife.

Hmmm, does that constitute bias against same-sex real-life partners?

This latest iteration is no different from previous declarations about account holders right to privacy and ownership of their personal data and photos. the only difference is the addition of “Meta,” the new name of Facebook.

As a public service feature, The Adobo Chronicles is issuing this “Just in Case” notice to all those who have been duped by this “Just in Case” hoax.

Our advice: think before you copy, paste and share. Avoid unnecessary embarrassment!
