MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – Reacting to President Rodrigo Duterte’s announcement that he wants to abolish the NFA Council, Senator Bam Aquino expressed deep concern about the presidential decision.
In an exclusive interview with The Adobo Chronicles, Aquino said the the abolition of the NFA Council will severely affect the income of the Council members.
”It is so unfair for the President to abolish the Council because it cuts down the overall take home pay of the members. The members are citizens who are trying to make ends meet in order to provide for their families.,” Aquino said.
”I urge the President to reconsider his decision. It is the right thing to do,” Aquino added.
