Perhaps they will be too busy posing for selfies with the VIPs to focus on crowd control. And let’s not forget the brilliant suggestion of a Zoom rally – because nothing says “revolutionary spirit” like tuning in from the comfort of your living room. 

So,let’s raise a virtual protest sign and blame Duterte and Co. for robbing us of the spectacle of a cancelled rally. Who needs peace when you have the drama of bureaucratic bungling?
