DAVAO CITY, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Davao City Bureau) – People sometimes bite their own tongue and their own words, but leave it to former Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte to bite his own actions.
Duterte has slammed the United States’ recent request for the Philippines to house Afghan refugees, particularly those who have worked for the American government.
But his actions during his term have come back to haunt him.
In 2021, his administration welcomed Afghan refugees to the Philippines.
