Facebook Revises Community Standards, Bans Food Porn!

MENLO PARK, California (The Adobo Chronicles, San Jose Bureau) – Ron Thurman (not his real name), was jailed by Facebook for 30 days for violation of the social media platform’s community standards. Thurman did not bother to contest his account suspension and weathered through four weeks isolated from his thousands of peeps worldwide.

Now, Thurman is back on Facebook and he is not taking his release from FB jail sitting down.

As soon as he was back online, Thurman vowed to flood his wall with photos of food — lots and lots of ‘em, to the annoyance of even his top fans.

Facebook also took notice and is fighting back.

Today, Facebook announced its updated community standards that include a ban on posting food, glorious food! It is calling it “food porn.” It comes with a penalty of suspension or account deactivation for repeat offenders.

As for Thurman? He is back in Facebook jail for another 30 days!
