‘Martyr Or Murderer’ Pulled Out After First Day Of Screening!

QUEZON CITY, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Quezon City Bureau) – Darryl Yap’s awaited film — the second of a trilogy — seems to be following in the footsteps of Vince Tañada’s flop movie, “Ako Si Ninoy!”

Martyr or Murderer” opened on February 27 at a theatre in SM North, attended by the who’s who in the entertainment world.

But alas, The Adobo Chronicles has learned that MoM was pulled out of the theater after only one day of screening.

However, Imee Marcos told AC that it was customary in the film industry to pull out a movie after its first day of screening — especially if it was a premiere showing.

Not to worry, MoM will be back March 1 in theaters worldwide!

Fact Check: ‘Martyr Or Murderer’ Not An Official Panagbenga Float Entry.

BAGUIO CITY, Philippines. (The Adobo Chronicles, Baguio Bureau) – It is still being investigated but the Baguio Chronicle is reporting that the float of “Martyr or Murderer” was not an official entry in last Sunday’s Panagbenga Grand Parade. How the float managed to gate-crash the event remains a mystery.

Many netizens who saw the posted fact check however disputed it, saying that the subject float was actually that of the Baguio City Bureau of The Adobo Chronicles.

Is this then a case of fake news, satire or a figment of the imagination?

No comment yet from Darryl Yap, Imee Marcos or the city’s tourism office.
