KEYSTONE, South Dakota (The Adobo Chronicles, South Dakota Bureau) – Just in time for the commemoration of Presidents’ Day, a new addition to the Mount Rushmore Presidential Monument has been unveiled.
Visitors to the national landmark in Keystone, South Dakota will see the addition of Donald Trump to the carved images of Presidents George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Franklin Roosevelt and Abraham Lincoln.
It’s a project that was started soon after Trump assumed the Presidency in 2016. It wasn’t supposed to be finished until 2024 after Trump finishes his second term. Alas, that second term never came to fruition, so the project was accelerated in time for this year’s Presidents’ Day commemoration.
