MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – Vice President Leni Robredo placed a distant 6th in a recent poll conducted by Pulse Asia on the question of who Filipinos would vote for as next President if elections were held today.
Robredo trailed Sara Duterte, Bongbong Marcos, Grace Poe, Isko Moreno and Manny Pacquiao.
The Adobo Chronicles filed a Freedom of Information (FOI) request with Pulse Asia to identify the 8 people who voted for Robredo in the poll. The 8 are: Bam Aquino, Mar Roxas, Chel Diokno, Gary Alejano, Samira Gutoc, Romulo Macalintal, Erin Tañada and Florin Hilbay.
… the 8 defeated Opposition Senatorial candidates of Otso Diretso.
MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – The Philippines’ senior citizens now comprise more than 10 percent of the total population — 10 million to be exact.
But things could abruptly change beginning in 2021 when live births could exceed the senior population.
The reason? The community quarantine imposed by the government due to the coronavirus pandemic.
It’s been nine months since the community quarantine was first imposed in Luzon and eventually nationwide, because of Covid-19.
It’s that time when live births are due — babies conceived at the beginning of the quarantine.
We’ll just have to wait for the actual live birth numbers this month.
QUEZON CITY, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Quezon City Bureau)- The camp of Leni Robredo has finally reacted to a new Pulse Asia poll that shows the Vice President at No. 6 in voter preference for President in the 2022 elections. She trails other “Presidentiables” Sara Duterte, Bongbong Marcos, Grace Poe, Isko Moreno and Manny Pacquiao.
In a statement to the press, Office of the Vice President Barry Gutierrez said “Masyadong maaga.” (It’s too early).
He added, “Hindi pa nakakauwi si Leni.” (Leni isn’t home yet.) Gutierrez did not elaborate further.
