NEW YORK, New York (The Adobo Chronicles, New York Bureau) – Minutes after U,S. President Donald Trump walked out on Lesley Stahl, CBS announced it was renaming its news magazine show “60 MINUTES” to “37 MINUTES”
Trump abruptly ended the interview 37 minutes or so into the taping after he accused Stahl of “asking tough questions.”
CBS producers also considered renaming the show “TIK TOK” to reflect the sound of the ticking of the clock, but decided in favor of “37 MINUTES.”
QUEZON CITY, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Quezon City Bureau) – If we could predict the outcome of the November 3 U.S. Presidential Election, we would categorically say that Joe Biden will defeat President Donald Trump. But that’s for later.
First, we have a prediction that came to fruition — at least part of it.
On Sunday, October 18, The Adobo Chronicles predicted on its Facebook page that in her next Facebook Live address, Leni Robredo would be wearing a bloody red dress — in contrast to the purple, violet and pink hues she’s been wearing.
Our prediction came after New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern appeared in a red dress to address her nation after winning another term in the elections.
We predicted that Robredo’s PR handlers would try to “replicate” the image of the popular NZ Prime Minister, in an effort to significantly increase her trust and approval ratings for the next national poll.
Robredo’s ratings in the last national poll were very dismal, registering only 50% and 57%, respectively, for trust and performance.
In her FB Live address today, October 22, Robredo did wear a bloody red dress!
We also predicted that she would let her hair down and let go of those nerdy glasses, but that didn’t happen this time around.
MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – The youth are the future of the Motherland, so they say. And the Filipino youth have spoken: they want puppet, dictator and fascist Vice President Leni Robredo out!
Today’s protest rally against the Duterte administration took an unexpected turn when Filipino youth made their sentiments known. Not about Duterte, but about Robredo.
