MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – Thanks to the efforts of ex-President Noynoy Aquino and his earstwhile very competent Foreign Affairs Secretary Albert Del Rosario, the Philippines scored a major victory over the disputed territory in the West Philippine Sea.

In its arbitration case filed with the United Nations, the Philippines laid claim to Pag-asa Island.

Alas, as it turns out, the disputed territory is not an island, but a rock.

All that for nothing.

Well, perhaps Aquino and cohorts can instead lay claim to Dwayne Johnson, The Rock! He may not be Filipino but at least he is of Pacific Island heritage (Samoan).
