MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – Tourism Promotions Board (TPB) chief Cesar Montano broke his silence yesterday on the controversial “Buhay Carinderia” project, tagging resigned tourism secretary Wanda Teo in the project.

Montano claimed Teo, who personally knows Linda Legaspi of Marylindbert International, had referred the project to him for funding.

It was Legaspi who received the P80-million fund and conceptualized Buhay Carinderia, Montano stressed. 

The Adobo Chronicles investigative team obtained a copy of the ‘Buhay Carinderia’ project budget which has been forwarded to the Commission on Audit (COA) for review and appropriate action.
