MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – Remember when Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque hopped onto an MRT train to commiserate with Metro Manila commuters?

Well, he liked it so much that he’s doing it again on January 7, in observance of World No Trousers Day. It is a day when commuters — from San Francisco to London —  drop their trousers while riding the trains to work.

Roque told The Adobo Chronicles that he prepared long and hard for this, shedding a lot of weight in order to look good for the cameras. (See photo for artist’s rendition of Roque sans his trousers.)

Members of the Senate and House of Representatives will be joining Roque in this once-in-a-lifetime commute.
