SAN FRANCISCO, California (The Adobo Chronicles, San Francisco Bureau) – For a full eleven minutes on November 2, U.S. President Donald Trump’s personal account (@realdonaldtrump) disappeared from Twitterdom, according to Snopes.com.

A Twitter employee, on his last day at work, reportedly caused the taking down of Trump’s account.

Luckily, Trump was taking a nap at that time and didn’t notice that his favorite means of communicating with the general public was “non-existent.”

The help of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has been sought to get to the bottom of the matter.

Sources close to The White House told The Adobo Chronicles that in addition to the Twitter employee, other persons of interest include:

  • Philippine Senator Antonio Trillanes who, according to unconfirmed reports, was called ‘Lil Narco’ by Trump during an interview with the President by an unnamed reporter on board Air Force One.
  • Silent No More, an anti-Duterte political group in the Philippines which has been encouraging its followers to mass-report Facebook and Twitter accounts of pro-Duterte netizens. S&M — we mean SNM — was afraid that Trump, who is scheduled to visit the Philippines this weekend, might tweet to confirm that he said what he reportedly said about Trillanes.  SNM was especially afraid that Trump will use the full 280 new maximum character limit to bash Trillanes and other members of the Duterte opposition.

Oh what fun it is to tweet and be tweeted about.

Should Karen Davila Quit As A Journalist?

31116065-7878-45D2-9666-A148949932BF.jpegMANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – Journalists are supposed to be neutral, fair and balanced in their reporting, and should not be openly identified with any particular political party or ideology.

But in a single tweet, “investigative journalist” Raissa Robles accused broadcast journalist Karen Davila of being a Duterte supporter.C397F649-1E76-4467-86CC-16FD05102DB7

Well, that makes Davila unqualified to be a journalist.

Unless, she can refute Robles’ claim.

We’re waiting, Karen…
