MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – Duterte critic Vicky Garchitorena could not believe that pro-Duterte blogger Sass Rogando Sasot confronted a BBC journalist in front of a Men’s restroom during the ASEAN Summit.

Sasot made a scene at the ASEAN Summit’s International Media Center at the World Trade Center in Pasay City when she questioned BBC over an interview with known Duterte critic Jover Laurio.

Rogando claimed that Laurio, the person behind the website Pinoy Ako Blog, received support of a “powerful group” that enabled her to get the BBC interview last month.

Garchitorena, in a retweet,  questioned why Sasot would do such a thing in front of the PICC Media Center men’s restroom.

”She should have at least done it INSIDE the restroom, away from public view,” Garchitorena told The Adobo Chronicles.

Moral of the story:  If you’re going to do an ambush interview, take it inside the restroom.
