MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – The Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) has summoned Jover Laurio, a.k.a. Pinoy Ako Blog (PAB) in connection with charges of unpaid back taxes.

BIR told The Adobo Chronicles that Laurio has been issuing receipts that are not official and have not been registered with the tax agency.

”It is tantamount to tax evasion and fraud to issue fake receipts,” the BIR said.

Many who follow PAB know that Laurio has been issuing resibo (receipts) to those who visit her blog.

Time for reckoning.
