The Inquirer Renames Itself

3F3245A2-2366-42D4-8A27-2D23E1284036.jpegMANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – The Philippine Daily Inquirer (The Inquirer) has always lived up to its ‘fearless’ motto — no fear in spreading biased, and sometimes fake, news.

But the national daily’s owners felt that there was something missing. They finally found it: a more accurate, descriptive name for its kind of politics and newspapering.

So today, the paper announced it was changing its name to The Manilaw Times.

The Yellows are celebrating this milestone — a newspaper they can truly call their own!
