WASHINGTON, D.C. (The Adobo Chronicles, Washington Bureau) – Both Raissa Robles and The Adobo Chronicles have reason to celebrate these days.

The U.S. Library of Congress has purchased copies of Robles’ book, “Marcos Martial Law: Never Again” and the book version of The Adobo Chronicles.

The purchase is a great honor  for the Philippines.

Robles announced the good news on her Twitter account, while The Adobo Chronicles is yet to formally announce the purchase.

The library bought one copy of Robles book, and 100 copies of The Adobo Chronicles.

Visitors to the library in Washington, D.C. will be able to check out both books beginning July 1.  First come, first served of course.
