WASHINGTON, D.C. (The. Adobo Chronicles, Washington Bureau) – Now everybody knows that when Donald Trump promises to do something, he delivers. And deliver he did on almost all of his campaign promises so far: repealing Obamacare, building a border wall with Mexico, creating a Muslim registry, closing the door on refugees and immigrants, and many others.

There is just one major campaign promise that he hasn’t fulfilled, but it’s coming next week: to jail Hillary Clinton.

Many will recall that during his presidential campaign, Trump said to Clinton:  “If I win, I am going to instruct my attorney general to get a special prosecutor to look into your (missing email) situation, because there has never been so many likes, so much deception.”

When asked by The Adobo Chronicles why he has not acted on that promise, Trump said, “Just you wait.  As soon as my nominee for attorney general Jeff Sessions is confirmed by the Senate, that promise will come true.”

Sessions passed the first confirmation hurdle when the Senate Judiciary Committee approved his nomination. Soon after, in a vote for 53-42, the Senate moved to start debate on his confirmation.

White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer confirmed that a draft Executive Order is waiting to be signed by Trump, instructing Sessions to hire a special prosecutor to start the jailing process for Mrs. Clinton.

However, Spicer said that “because President Trump is a nice person and recognizes his long friendship with Bill and Hillary, he will pardon Mrs. Clinton when his second term as U.S. president is up.

Yes, Trump just promised that he will win a second term.  Will he deliver?
