WASHINGTON, D.C. (The Adobo Chronicles, Washington Bureau) – When Ivanka Trump and husband Jared Kushner signed the deal to purchase a six-bedroom, $5.5 million house in Washington, D.C., the couple also signed on to be neighbors with Barack and Michelle Obama.
The Obamas earlier purchased a $6.35 million, 8,000-square-foot house in the same Kalorama neighborhood so that their daughter Sasha could finish her high school in D.C.
As an additional perk, Ivanka and Jared will also be neighbors with Vice President and Mrs. Joe Biden.
But yet another surprise awaits the incoming presidential daughter and son-in-law.
Bill and Hillary Clinton have just bought a house within walking distance from the Obamas and the Bidens, for an undisclosed amount.
There is speculation that the Clintons made the purchase to intimidate Donald Trump’s daughter.
Regardless, the neighborhood is sure to see a spike in Secret Service presence, especially during the homeowners’ annual block party.
