SAN FRANCISCO, California (The Adobo Chronicles, San Francisco Bureau) – So much for Donald Trump abandoning his businesses to focus on his presidency. He’s opening a new restaurant in — of all places — San Francisco.
A popular Union Square gastronomical institution in the City by the Bay, Kuleto’s, has closed, apparently a victim of the ridiculously rising rent in San Francisco.
Kuleto’s has specialized in Northern Italian cuisine and has been a favorite after-work hangout for San Francisco’s hip crowd and sports fans.
Trump has bought the space for an undisclosed amount.
The president-elect has not revealed what kind of food he will be serving at his new restaurant, but he’s happy that the new signage would only involve a little tinkering (see photo).
