WASHINGTON, D.C. (The Adobo Chronicles, Washington Bureau) – After struggling for many weeks now to enlist A-1 artists to perform for his presidential inauguration on January 20, Donald Trump scored his first success.
Until lately, only Jackie Evancho and the Mormon Tabernacle Choir have been confirmed to perform for Trump’s inaugural.
Today, the Trump inaugural committee proudly announced that it has received confirmation from an A-list performer in the person of Filipino boxing champion Manny Pacquiao.
Aside from being a boxer and senator in his native Philippines, Pacquiao is also a recording artist.
Trump expressed elation over Pacquiao’s confirmation, saying that the boxer-senator-singer has a worldwide following, including a bi-partisan audience in America.
Pacquiao has reportedly commissioned an international composer to pen two songs that he will perform during the Trump inaugural.
The two songs are titled, “America Will Be Great Again,” and “Trump and Duterte: BFFs.”
