NEW YORK, New York (The Adobo Chronicles, Washington Bureau) – Gennifer Flowers, a former model who had an extramarital sexual encounter with Bill Clinton in the 1980s, has reportedly accepted an invitation from Donald Trump to sit in the front row during the first presidential debate scheduled Monday night at Hofstra University.
Political analysts believe that the invitation was Trump’s strategy to intimidate and distract his opponent Hillary Clinton.
Today, the Clinton campaign told The Adobo Chronicles that Mrs. Clinton had invited reigning Miss Universe Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach to also sit in the front row. The Philippines’ beauty queen has reportedly accepted.
Political insiders weren’t quite sure what the presence of Miss Universe would do to Trump, but Clinton supporters think it is a wise move to similarly distract Trump.
Trump used to own the Miss Universe Organization prior to launching his presidential bid. NBC Universal, a partner in the Miss Universe and Miss USA Beauty Pageants, decided to part ways with Trump after his statements against Mexicans. Trump eventually sold the organization.
The Clinton campaign said Trump will surely be distracted by the Philippine beauty who will be wearing her $300,000 crown, but also be intimidated by memories of the pageant he once owned.
